Who’s our best backup RB?

I like these two spring games to get various RB's reps as they will be likely needed to start at RB this fall.

Dangit. MK is banged up isn’t he? Hope he heals up well.

"Banged up" could mean a bit sore or a devastating injury....please explain....

I’m just going off the posts from Brother Bear that said depth at RB gonna be needed come fall and that we will see why in a couple weeks. I’m assuming this means Knight is hurt.

That coupled with the fact that Hauck said Knight is dealing with some injuries on the latest Griz Sports report has me concerned. Brother Bear will have to tell us if it’s serious or not.

Hilarious. So this is your football thread? Gee, how many hours did it take you to think of these topics? I can picture you sitting there during the 8 hours you spend daily on this site, ripping-up your notes for yet another football topic, to finally post this revelation. Such tremendous insight..... ranking our roster of RBs, several of whom have never taken a snap. ZZZZZZZZZZZZZ. You're trying a bit too hard to be relevant. Maybe tomorrow, huh? LMAO! Some of have a life beyond egriz. I'll discuss football after we begin playing.

Says the guy who’s anointed a starting QB who’s never thrown a collegiate pass. Go home, troll.

Should I purchase the cage of crows now so there will be enough to go around when you and your fellow football geniuses have to put your bib on after Brown replaces Cam as the starter at QB? Could be in the spring, but probably not until fall. But it will happen, and it not be due to injury either. I don't need to see Brown throw a collegiate pass. I have seen Cam play and he is not the answer. I get my info on Brown from football minds who I trust much more than a bunch of keyboard QBs, most of whom have never played the game. Cam is a 5th-year senior who was never good enough to win the starting job before now. He will not suddenly evolve into a great QB now. Brown is the real deal, as you will see.

Did I miss all the posts that stated that Brown couldn't be the starter?

"C'mon man" you don't need to spend good money; you throw off enough bait naturally to attract all you'll need.

At least I got the nads to go on record, instead of dancing-with-the-non-stars like the rest of you.

Wrong on Cam and Brown. I get my info from watching practices and talking to close insiders. Cam is really throwing the bell well. Brown is better than I realized, tho. A big mouth with little or no info, and no first hand info, is just a big mouth and blowhard.

The biggest blowhard on the board calling another poster a blowhard. Ha Ha Ha!

Sounds like the perfect person to chime in then.

At Griz Softball today, some were saying it's a knee and he is lost for the Fall season.
God that sucks. Can we get it done with Ostmo, Turner and Harris, or do we need to bring in a transfer now?

Do they even have a spot/scholarship for a transfer in the first place?

Maybe. There were a couple guys that left the team, not sure if they were on scholarship or not but there’s always the possibility that somebody could leave after the spring games.

Well let’s hope that just rumor mill stuff.

Not rumors. It’s next man up now. I’m hearing good things about Xavier Harris. Let’s wait and see.

They’re are some positives in this. One, Marcus has never RSed so there’s no question of future eligibility. Two, we have a stable of young guys ready to step up. Three, we have a very seasoned O line to help pave the way for any newcomer trying to fill Marcus’s shoes. It’s unfortunate he’s done for the year, especially after already sitting one year out, but I’m sure he’ll be back next year, making our RB depth ridiculous. I just hope our O line depth will be as good.
