With no new Griz football this fall a lot of us are going to have a hole to fill! That includes a number of TV stations that are going to have to have some alternative programming available. So, here's a novel idea!

Why not get the University and the local TV stations to broadcast archived games!? I'm pretty sure there would be a market for this if the games were hand picked. For example, you could fill a whole season of Saturday's just by rebroadcasting every game during the "STREAK".

Another option would be to show the championship seasons in their entirety. There are all sorts of possibilities!

I thought the decision had been made? Now, it is delayed until tomorrow, regarding football?

I think the decision is made for football. My understanding is that they were still working through options for the other fall sports and are delaying any announcement until tomorrow.

Why not not put together a subscription (streaming ) package made available for download and use the money to help offset the loss of revenue from the football season. You could give the season ticket holders a discount so the bitching about cost is at least muted a bit!

Hell yea - Is there anyone that would not like to see the entire 1995 or 2001 season. Pay per view BABY & UM gets some $

I'm in... And while we're at it offer a couple of in-series sponsorships to current Griz sponsors to offset the cost. Might even put a Griz schedule poster from that year in the mailer so you can hang it and see who's up next for viewing. Seems like a no-brainer to make some money?! My house would have bourbon, beer and bears every week ... nice way to ease the pain of no season!

The streaming package is a good idea! There needs to be a way for local bars and restaurants to get access to show the games and advertise the broadcasts with some specials to entice people to come and watch!

That may be a way to offset some of the enormous revenue losses these establishments face this fall. It won't help the hotel/motel industry, or the retailers, but would help the bars and restaurants. For those who elect to purchase a streaming package and have friends over, it might help generate some revenue for local grocers!

The cancel culture has these on its hit list to erase since they were a clear example of white privilege.
