oooh, oooh! a discussion about aliases being band!

here's my list: _______________________.

ok, that's it. nobody should be band. how boring would egriz be without the endless personal insults hurled between folks who have 'known' each other for many years, yet have never met?

actually, i take that back - there are a couple on here who can't seem to differentiate between diversionary entertainment on a relatively pointless football message board and 'real life', and start stalking other posters. those two should be band.
Like, rubber band?

more or less.

you guys are a bunch of thin skinned candy asses, I think 2506 provides some lively discussion and something besides the maroon colored glasses that everyone here wears.

This is great. I will now submit my list of other posters who should be banned because they are too disruptive to the site.

If egriz got rid of another half dozen or so posters, and warned a few more, it would be a much better site.

2506 is not a horrible person, but he is truly a troll--and he sometimes disrupts the site. If he were bit smarter, he would have been a bigger problem.

That is purely your opinion. As you probably know... there are a shitload of people on this site that do not enjoy constantly having to sift through all your completely biased posts about how good and pure the Grizzly program is, and how the players never do anything wrong, and how The Man is simply out to get them. You often have reliable information about certain things due to your obsession with being the self proclaimed Player Representative, but would be a breath of fresh air if you could ever just admit that sometime these players F up, should be kicked off the team, and should be punished for what they do. Nobody wants to hear about all the lawyer tricks used to get guilty people off the hook.

I have never said this: "posts about how good and pure the Grizzly program is, and how the players never do anything wrong, and how The Man is simply out to get them"

Never once. Never even alluded to that.

Yes, I support players, coaches and administrators (at times), from unfair attacks. However, I often don't say anything about various various situations and bad behavior. This is apparently too complicated for you to figure out.

Lawyer tricks don't get guilty people off the hook. However, ethical defense of those accused often results in prosecutors being unable to prove statutory and constitutional requirements of probably cause and beyond a reasonable doubt. In a country like ours, I am always amazed that there are people that don't believe in the Constitution/Bill of Rights, and have little or no understanding of the well-developed legal system we have.

Wow. O.J. anyone?

What was the lawyer "trick or tricks" in that case? You're confusing good lawyering and advocating with tricks. The defense resources put into that case were extraordinary. The defense team was much better than the prosecution.

Please point out all the lawyer "tricks" used to successfully defend UM athletes.

Shitcanned? Kind of like most of the beer being discussed here. No, wait, that'd be "Canned shit". Just kidding. I drank PBR looonnngg before it was cool to drink it (and also well before I could legally drink it). We would put a half rack in the freezer and consume it while playing cards until the sun rose. It always seemed to taste like Welches grape juice. (Worst beer ever: Falstaff. When consumer reports tested it, it had a ridiculously high level of formeldehyde which comes from brewing at a high temperture to reduce brewing time thus lowering cost)

As for 2506. His posts were "dick-ish" and he was a troll to be sure but he was an easy target and I don't think he should have been banned. It is really easy to ignore any post you don't like. Its not like the guy is able to shout anyone down. That's the beauty of this medium -- everyone gets to get their say in no matter if anyone else agrees.

That said, it isn't like he will be sorely missed.

Your right.. Too many posters with sand in their vaginas.

A troll doesnt deserve a perma ban as much as those posters that "stalk" other posters, or are into personal threats/attacks. They need to go. Unfortunately many of them donate to egriz also, so thats not going to happen.

Agreed. 2506 was kind of fun to have around...brag up the Kitties for a while, then have to crawl back in his cave and lick his **** to calm down. Better than some narcissistic people on this forum who get their little panties in a knot about every little sand-lot squabble.

Oh, I don't know... let's see here... "If the glove don't fit... you must acquit!". Ok, so we both know we're just talking semantics here, and maybe "Trick" wasn't the right word. Let me rephrase that to make my point (which is silly because you know what the point is.) Good lawyering is often used to get guilty people off the hook. That's what I meant to say. And regarding the UM program, ever since you got on here after JD Quinn got arrested for his 2nd DUI, and you claimed that he was not drinking, but his Lawyer advised him to NEVER blow... that pretty much summed it up. I've made some stupid decisions in my life and there are times where I've gotten behind the wheel when I shouldn't, and I used the law to get me out of trouble and avoid paying the consequences of my actions, breaking the law and driving while intoxicated. just like JD did. So hopefully you can at least admit that lawyers use the law, or lawyer tricks, or loopholes, or whatever you want to call them, to help their clients avoid getting convicted for things when in fact they did do those things.

I'm reminded of a woman I dated many, many years ago. She was a professional drama queen...one day she had a panic attack and went to the ER because she couldn't decide which outfit to wear to work. In one year, she logged 53 ER visits (yes, I was sick enough to keep track)..none of them for what I would call a legitimate reason...but enough about her; my point is that after we went our separate ways, I came to realize that I really didn't miss her, but I did miss the chaos, the uncertainty...the always wondering if I would get a 3:00 am "emergency" phone call..you get used to craziness and life seems almost too quiet when that insanity is gone. I feel the same way about 2506...I sort of got used to his relentless style and in a sick way, looked forward to reading what he had to say.

Reminds me of that commercial where the guy runs into the ex...and she's crazy. Says "dodged a bullet there". You did too my friend!

One of Two things are happening at 2506s house right now:
1)he's bragging to his cat that he got banned from egriz
2) he's getting on other boards complaining that he got banned from egriz

for what it's worth, no one ever said it was permanent... maybe just a cat nap of say a week... :coffee:

In any event, I'm sure the nearest Walgreen's appreciates the huge spike in lotion sales.

Glad to hear 2506 will be back. Someone has to keep this board on it's toes. Always enjoy his remarks and also a dig here and there. There are griz posters over on Bobcat Nation that post things that aren't always welcome either but I don't think any have ever been banned. I for one am anxious for 2506 to return. Hopefully he won't get banned again.
GO CATS!!!
