My grandparents, mother, many of my aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews are crimson tide alum. I’ve always passively rooted for them. It became more fun to do so these last ten years. I’ll continue cheering for them this season.

Fair point. Obviously the Buffs haven't been good (besides one year) in quite some time. I wish that Nebraska and Colorado could just agree to play every year though. Some great games in that series.

Agree fully on Tennessee. I became a Vols fan that day.
Other than UM, I go for any team from the west, at all levels of college football.

I forget the year, but it must've been about 10 ago. My wife and I used to go to pretty much every UCLA home game. One year Nebraska came to town, and I remember their fans being really cool, even after a pretty close loss. That was the first time I heard the Go Big Red chant. Love it.
I’m catholic so I’ll go with Notre Dame. I do like Oregon too though.

Notre Dame stopped being Catholic back in the 1960s. I'm a traditional Catholic (I attend an SSPX chapel) and I root for the team that plays against the Irish just because at least that team does not pretend to be Catholic (like Notre Dame).
