"Nope, I'm not win-at-all-cost at all. Not even close. Never was; never will be. I believe the game should be played fairly, and believe that how you play the game is more important than winning. I believe in the integrity in the game. I like FCS football better than FBS football, for schools like UM and Dartmouth, believe the FBS game has been overly influenced by money and is closer to win-at-all costs.

I like to win, and for my team to win, but I know that teams don't win every game, and I'm fine with losses. I'm disappointed by losses, or certain losses, but I get over the losses almost immediately. Losses are part of the game, and people and teams learn and move forward from losses--sometimes even more than from wins.

I don't minimize everything players do, and certainly don't do it to keep things from being exposed. By the time I address things like that on the internet, they've already been exposed. Many times I don't even comment on what players have done. When I do, I usually am just trying to put things in perspective and lay out the other side. Sometimes, I do this to defender players from the unfair comments and outright lies from people like you. You are one of the worst offenders in this area. In any event, defending players on the internet has nothing to do with win-at-all-costs. As I've said before, you have this goofy and unsupported view that supporting players equals win-at-all-costs. It doesn't.

In my defense of players over the years, I have been correct in virtually in everyone of those situations. Not Donaldson, in my initial post about my instinct. of course. But almost everything I've said or position I took was correct. By comparison, almost everything you have said about players have been false, exaggerated or an outright lie.

I was a vocal supporter of Haslam to become the AD. I also liked an supported Delaney and am friends with him. Engstrom has made so many mistakes with UM generally and with football that I would never support him.

And you, getgrizzy, truly do not know what you are talking about. You are really an odd person and personality. I think most on egriz would agree."

I know personally that Mick thinks you're a meddling arse wipe. THese coaches tolerate you to keep the money train on track, but get them on a golf course after a couple of beers and their real feeling emerge.

Nope, you don't know that. In fact, you are completely lying, as you often do. I am pretty friendly with Mick, as well as his wife. Let's bet one million dollars on this. Put up or shut up. The extent of your dishonesty is quite astounding. Can't wait to see you and tell you in person. Hopefully, your wife Mary will be there, as I will also tell her what I, and many others, think of you.

The next time I see you, I will come right over to you. You're telling too many lies, for my taste. You'll be running out the back door of the Mo Club or wherever you are in a big hurry, because I know you wouldn't be able to take what I'll be telling you. You are a very odd guy, and a loser. Can't wait to tell you in person.

The sad part is, this isn't mesnt to be comedy. These ass clowns are serious as a heart attack, which frankly could occur to either at any moment.

You're a win-at-all-costs fan and it is a proven fact. Before hearing the evidence you cleared Donaldson based on your instincts. That alone says it all. Of all the fans that come on this board you're by far the biggest win at all cost fan. Face it, you don't care about the players as human beings, you care about them as football players at UM. You have no conscience when it comes to the football team and that makes you a borderline sociopath. Your conduct toward other posters is at times unstable and aggressive, which are psychopath traits.

Everyone knows who you are yet you don't change your screen name to acknowledge it or allow anyone to use your name, which is another psychologically bizarre action. Everything you say on this board, despite your Ivy League education and profession, is met with skepticism. Almost every level-headed poster on this board avoids you.

Recently you all but accused Krakauer of having an affair with one of the rape accusers, which we must then assume includes Donaldsons victim. Win PlayerRep. Win at all costs.

Not true. At the 3-day mini-camp, JJ's prior shoulder injury flared up and was so bad that he was unable to throw or practice by day 3.

Nope, not true. Not even close. Not win-at-all-costs at all. My post on Donaldson had nothing to do with him being a football player. It was based on knowing him, liking him, and knowing many people who liked him. My daughter is the same age, and graduated from high school the same year. She also liked him.

As I had said various times, you have this goofy view that supporting the team and players equals win-at-all-cost. It doesn't. When I support players or coaches, it is almost always for reasons other than them being football players/coaches. It is because they are being unfairly accused or attacked, or lied about, by people like you. Yes, I asked a question about Krakauer, but accused him of nothing. I have seen him having lunch in town with an accuser, tho. It seems odd that he hangs around Missoula so much.

gg, you are an odd person. My people on egriz would agree with that.

The fact that CDA can't figure out why there are Cat fans over here is a mind boggling mystery of the universe. What's more our backups would probably win at least 8 games next year.

Backups keep leaving the team, not sure 8 is a possibility even if they could double up on some weekends in September or October.
