Where was Poly's Chris Brown?

Is he hurt? MIA?
Didn't see his name as a runner or passer in Saturday's game with Portland. Some Jenkins guy was 3 of 15 passing for Poly.
Would he have made the difference in a 38-35 loss by Poly?

Brown is injured should be back next week sounds like. The quarterback that took his place was a true freshman. Not a very good arm, pretty good runner, shifty. Poly shot themselves in the foot. Four turnovers that I saw. first two drives fumbled inside their own 10-20. Before half fumbled inside Portland State's 5 going into score.

Poly lost Brown and Protheroe in the game
Brown did not dress for the game. Protheroe went out in the third quarter. As far as Jenkins arm it is not as bad as the stats. He had a few good passes dropped and he threw the a all away a few times to avoid the sack.

thanks, guys, for the info...

my conclusion is his absence was the difference ... or PSU would have had a conference loss...

PSU does have a conference loss at the hands of the No-Names from UND on October 3rd. 19-17 UND.

big a, I know that and I probably should have written "another conference loss instead of another Sky win" ... it's big because it would have helped unclutter the top and a Poly win wouldn't have helped them that much

No worries LakGriz. The top of the Big Sky certainly is a cluster at this point, and the results of Saturday's games may not provide much in the way of clearing things up.
Hopefully the Griz just care of business :thumb:

Ah, did not know this! Makes me feel much better about the fact that PSU beat Poly. Just boosted my mood on our chances! Go Griz!
