I think it is going to be ironic if Shedeur falls to after Tommy because of “character issues” yet I never saw Shedeur tipping over trash cans
When it comes to character, Tommy is a total class act. A great ambassador for the State of Montana.

Who sometimes randomly tips over the opposing teams trash can out of the blue. When it comes to character, Tommy is a total class act. A great ambassador for the State of Montana.
Ya but it was just for fun. He was smiling when he did it. Plus it helped give a job to some people.Who sometimes randomly tips over the opposing teams trash can out of the blue.![]()
Haha! I'm a Bobcat but that is hilarious. My guess is undrafted to Republic Services but he could surprise everyone and go to their rival Grizzly Disposal.
Now that the 4th round is over does this start to become more of a real possibility? I would have never thought this was possible but Mr. Sanders seems to have really screwed the pooch? Is Tommy or Shedeur getting drafted first?
The suspense is over ... drafted by the Browns. On another note, someone (for the Giants) has now gone on record as to why they passed on him.Mel Kiper the anointed “draft guru” is having a meltdown over how far Sanders has fallen. Makes him look bad.
As to the “character” issue … Mellot is, by all accounts, a fine young man and a credit to his family and the state of Montana. (We can safely ignore the trash can episode.)
From stories that have surfaced, the same cannot be said for Sanders. No one has had the guts to say it openly, but many scouts, etc. see him as, to put it mildly, an arrogant jerk, who would be high maintenance in the clubhouse and on the field. Some of his interviews – when he finally condescended to show up – were apparently disasters. His words and body language said, “You’re lucky to have a chance to draft me. Don’t pass it up.” That would not go over well.
Don't get me wrong, I totally think Tommy can play and excel in the NFL given the right opportunity. I'm not saying he isn't strong or that his size will prevent him from playing. But for both of those 3rd round receivers, they are considered undersized, which is why they went in the 3rd instead of the 1st or 2nd. They also have extensive college tape playing WR and excelled.I don't agree that NFL teams view that size as tiny. I see that 1 receiver and 2 running backs had more benches that Mellott this year. That receiver was picked in the 3d round today and is 5'11", 194. Same 40 and vertical as Mellott. 3 receivers about Mellott's size were picked in the first 3 rounds. 8 receivers ran their 40's faster than Mellott at the Combine this year. If Mellott can't catch, then never mind.
I was objecting to the word “tiny”. I understand undersized.Don't get me wrong, I totally think Tommy can play and excel in the NFL given the right opportunity. Tommy doesn't have that, and essentially has to learn to play WR after he's picked up by a team. That makes his size matter a lot more. A team might have taken a flyer on him already if he were 6'2" and 215lbs.
Tim, Colt and Edelman are all good examples of guys who excelled despite being small, and I think Tommy can, as well, but they kind of prove my point. 2 of them went undrafted, and Edelman went in the 7th round.
Close…6th round Raiders6th round Cinncinati. Total guess
It’ll be fun to see how Chip Kelly uses him.Close…6th round Raiders
Nailed itI think he 100% gets drafted. His Pro Day numbers were off the chart from an athlete perspective. He scored a 9.28 RAS score which shows big time speed, explosiveness, and athleticism. I’m guessing 6th round. Will be a special teams guy early in career and then work into slot receiver and some qb run game (Taysom Hill like)
That's a weird pick after taking Tommy right before.Raiders pick Cam Miller at 215
TM, 213th selection, 6th round, Raiders
Tommy as slot receiver and Cam as backup QB?P

That’s fair, a little hyperbole lolI was objecting to the word “tiny”. I understand undersized.
