Where is the defense??

I just watched the Griz get embarrassed on national TV. I must say that I have never seen a Montanha BB team play such poor defense. Montana has always had a great defense since the days of Jud Heathcote. Not tonight.

They also pass the ball very poorly and sloppily. Their guards just can not handle the ball well enough, nor are quick enough to penetrate and break down the opponents defense.

It might be a very long year for the Griz if they can not play better defense. West Virginia was getting open looks on the 3 all night long. When they weren't shooting the 3, they easily got the ball inside for baskets.

Rundles particularly was in a fog out there on defense. His man easily beat him time after time.

All in all, it was really an embarrassing showing against a team that is not nearly as good as the Griz made them look tonight.

Chavez should be starting.

Heaven forbid someone be critical of the grizzlies. THat was a poor performance and even the maroon colored glasses couldn't make that one acceptable. Right now they have a lot of work to do.

I don't want to side with SGF but he didn't mention the griz football team he made statements based on a pitiful performance tonight by the griz.

Jesus it's early! Give them some time. Tinks will do just fine. Just because we won a game in the dance last year doesn't automatically mean we should be in the final four this year! :shocked:

Where does he say Tinkle should be fired. He points out problems and backs them up with examples.

What should someone say about the game? Once is an accident, twice is a coincidence and three times is a trend.
There are problems that need to get fixed. Is this the end? By all means no, but if they continue doing what they have been it will be a long year.

Great ob UM WV only shot 48% tonight from 3 pt land that is doen from the 60% it had been :thumb:

Griz D has not really shown up at all this year, so far. Looks like they were wearing cement shoes 2nite.
