It should be obvious; it is a case-by-case basis decision by Hauck and UM. It is just like any other UM student that has an emergency absence (classroom, athletics).AZGrizFan said:When someone has issues like he has, must they leave the team completely? Exactly no other student would get to go do that so why would he? As a student the dean would literally say...sounds like you need to take a semester off and evaluate when you can come back
Maybe so they can add another player as "officially on the roster?" I could be wrong, but I would guess it is probably due to some NCAA rule - i.e. player must spend x amount of hours to be listed on roster.AZGrizFan said:mtgrizfankb said:Proud Griz Man said:It should be obvious; it is a case-by-case basis decision by Hauck and UM. That’s my point. Unless they know immediately he’s not returning, why remove him from the roster and say he’s no longer on the team? I honestly can’t recall any player ever leaving “temporarily” to get something straightened out and then coming back. Seems like it’s always “he’s gone”.
