Well, one thing your wrong Raider is, he actually already CAME there (Missoula) since he met with the Griz coaching staff this afternoon. That is a FACT that cannot be disputed. I actually think Tanner still picks MSU, with Colter getting the first call from him probably as early as Sunday from what I've been told. BUT, Tanner did meet with the Griz staff and he didn't drive to Missoula for shits and giggles. He has strongly been considering UM, I just happen to think he'll choose MSU at the end of the day. But that completely disputes what Raider, and several posters on BN were saying earlier today, which is that he wasn't even talking to UM.

Tanner will not be a Griz. Guaranfuckingteed. Why the fuck would you lump me in with dbags on BN?? I have never been on that site, and never would. I know for a fact that Tanner is not coming here, and his trip has nothing to do with this. He has a ton of respect for Mick. You guys will get it at some point.

I actually agree with you Raider that he will choose MSU, but I KNOW FOR A FACT HE HAS NOT MADE THAT DECISION. And you are wrong for saying he has.

LMAO. How many times do I Have to repeat myself. I BELIEVE Trod is going to be a Bobcat. BUT you are lying about saying he has already decided and that he isn't/wasn't considering the Griz. It's a flat-out lie that's not true. But just like you can't prove you know what you're talking about, neither can I, so lets end this part of this discussion and wait for the announcement on Sunday or Monday.
 
Why would he go to msu. To play wr behind dm. Wait a year to play qb? What of Bleskin? A career back-up?
 
Despite your frustration, I never said he wasn't considering the Griz. Go back an show me where I said that, please, Havre. Tanner did consider UM, but there is more to this story than where he is transferring too, which is unfortunaltey is MSU.

Tanner is going to msu. In the long run it won't matter.

As mentioned before, his option at MSU is to play a signifigant role as a WR and in the return game immediately, while also being allowed to learn the offense at the QB position. Then, after DMAC is done, to compete with Bleskin and Prukop for the starting spot in the spring and summer of 2014. Or, he could also choose to continue to play WR if he is comfortable there. I was told that was the pitch ASH made to him and it comes from somebody who is in pretty constant contact with the MSU coaching staff. Not to mention, the bonds Tanner has to MSU. His dad is a Bobcat legend, and Trod grew up a Cat fan. When he was a senior at Bozeman, he was quoted several times as wanting to play and go to college elsewhere, not because of anything more than he wanted to leave Bozeman, LIKE MANY kids do when they are 18. And that's a big reason why he was strongly considering UM his senior year. However, he is now two years removed from that mindset, and it isn't impossible to think that he maybe sees home in a different light now, as well as a Cats' program that has become even bigger than when he was playing down the road for the Hawks. It's just my opinion, but I think those things win out in the end, and MSU lands him.
 
No idea, according to Raider, he was visiting the Griz football offices for reasons OTHER than football. I'm not claiming i KNOW what Tanner is doing or will decide. I've prefaced what I say as a GUESS. I just have a strong gut feeling, he's a Bobcat, and deep down inside, was probably always destined to be. But again, that's a guess. But he has to decide pretty fast because he has to enroll for winter semester at MSU pretty quickly as the registration deadline is Jan. 8 and classes begin there Jan. 9. So it is HIGHLY possible he was here to tell Mick exactly that if he has in fact decided, as once he enrolls at MSU it would be public info anyway, and with all the football creepers who look at things like the online registration books at MSU and UM, Facebook, Twitter, ect, he wouldn't be able to keep it quiet anyway.

Why would he drive all the way here for that? If that was the case, I'm sure a phone call would have sufficed.
 
like i said, unless you're raider or alpha who seem to already kno, it's all speculative. but it will only be 48 more hours at the most because if he chose MSU anyone can creep the online registrar and find out anyway.

The other thing is, if he picks MSU, it'd have to be pretty damn quick, because school starts there on Wed, Jan. 9th. I'm guessing the more time goes by, the higher likelihood he comes to UM (UM's spring semester starts a couple weeks after MSU), because as an athlete, you need to take "x number" of credits per semester, and it would be stupid for him to dink around and make a decision to attend MSU after the semester has started. :idea:
