Crap I didn't know that. That kid was a great pick up and addition for UM. He was so good the Maryland drop down Shaw, who is a beast, didn't beat him out right away. That says a lot. Sorry to hear this.

He started in JC in 2014 so he has 5 years to play 4. It appears that he didn't play against Eastern either so I think he is eligible for a medical redshirt. Maybe someone more qualified than I am could let us know the possibility of this happening.

If that is the case, I believe he is eligble to apply for a medical redshirt as it "appears" he has not used his redshirt year yet.

First of all, he would have to want to do it. He may be ready to move on to the next chapter of his life. The university knows how to go about applying for it if he is eligible and wants to.

Hard to believe, he got the injuries from celebrating with a teammate. I saw it as clear as day from the north endzone. All he did was jump up to do high fives or a shoulder bump. He landed awkward and straight to the ground he went. Now we know, why coaches like to limit how players celebrate.

Think it was just 2 ligaments and cartilage, not that that matters much.

Yup. Believe he just came up from behind to his teammate, and did some celebration. Think his teammate was facing the other way. I saw it too.
