He's hurt. When hw wasn't he was playing on multiple special teams units. When healthy, he's still only a RS-Freshman. He's a linebacker behind three starters who will start for the next two seasons. Just the way it is.

I spoke with Holden Ryan before the Southern Utah game — I've known him for years as I used to put on a series of high school combines around the state to help prospects earn measurables to help them in recruiting and he attended our combine in Billings before his junior year at Central. He told me he tore the labrum in his hip, an injury that will require season-ending surgery. He also has a slight tear in his knee. He is going to apply for a medical redshirt and hopes to be healthy for spring drills.

i hope he heals up and has a good career at um. heard he's a real good kid - i have had beers with his parents they are very nice folks... oh yeah and his mom is a total smokeshow....

It's not looking good right now.....ill try to be optimistic come spring ball! The guy could be a monster on offense or defense.
