Where does UCLA win sit in UM BBall history?

Well, at first this may seem like to big of praise, but I think this is in the top 6 wins in Griz BBall history. I dont know what order you put them in but these are them!!!

Nevada NCAA Tourney Game win
Griz win over Utah State in 1975 NCAA Tourney that got them to UCLA
Idaho (Or was it Idaho State?) when ranked #8 in the country
Stanford a few years ago
Weber BSC game (Johnson!)
UCLA Tonight

Disagree,
Best win of all time for the Griz was your 8 point loss to the Zags in 02 03 when Criswell lit it up with 25 points.

Not drinking, I am serious.

I think the Prime Ticket announcers did accurately sum up one thing well. The GRIZ are recruiting CA, getting some very good players, and a Win over UCLA will have a huge impact to further their results. Tinkle is a a great salesman already, now he can refer to this game to let do some talking for him. I think that is referred to as "Walking the walk".

I heard between Cherry, Autry, and Jamar there were over 50 guests from CA. That performance certainly has increased recruit interest, as well as putting the GRIZ on the map nationally, especially coming off an NCAA appearance, playing New Mexico and Washington close last year too. We have to get a W against Oregon State too.

It certainly does not hurt ESPN's Andy Katz has been giving the GRIZ some mention/pub now and then, even before the UCLA game. I am becoming a Katz fan very rapidly.

Even that is wrong... the best "loss" UM ever had was UCLA in 1975 by 3 points

Double Disagree Lou... if this is your criteria, the UCLA loss with Hayes and McKenzie was our greatest moment. Does anyone recall when Idaho State with 7-footer Steve Hayes beat UCLA? I think it was a tournament game in Pocatello, but I don't recall the specifics.

Sooner or later, games that were played over 35 years ago will be considered ancient history...and none to soon...
