Where Coach Hauck has improved

During Bobby's first go around I would get so frustrated with the play calling. Very predicable. Bobby's second go around the play calling has been Don Read like. Assistant coaches are far superior now compared to the first go around. This team will not be stopped.

I’m not sure this team “will not be stopped,” but the offense is much more colorful than Hauck 1.0

I agree Bobby has much better assistants overall this time around. However, I believe the biggest change in Bobby is that he lets the assistants do their jobs without as much meddling. This was particularly an issue with offense the first time around.

Hopefully we all improve with experience. I'm not so sure about some eGriz posters, though.

I agree with this, but I think that's largely due to having better assistants. Rosenbach is a better play caller than phenicie was in my opinion, so Hauck seems more confident to let him and Pease handle the offense.

Another area of improvement: When was the last time that you heard of a player getting into trouble off the field? He seems to be doing everything right. The only area I am waiting for is not just getting to the Championship but coming home with the hardware.

As great as it would have been for Hauck to come back earlier, I think the 2 years he spent at San Diego state could end up being huge in the long run. I know it's still early in his second stint, but I think the 335 defense he learned while down there is a good fit for the Griz.

His post game interviews. The last go round he gave the much more P.C. cookie cutter interview answers. Lately he’s not afraid to throw some jabs out, and I’m here for all of it. It’s a fire that can motivate.
