Where are they now?

When I spoke with Herb he was just about to retire from the Ministry, which he had been doing in Southern California for several years. I believe he preached at the East Los Angeles Methodist Ministry and had over the years done extensive work with Youth Ministrys in that area. Still follows Grizzly football!!

Anybody know John Rooney from Butte, who played for the Griz? He was in the medical device sales business in the 1990s, but I lost track of him.

How about the where abouts of JD Quinn, Levi Horn, Shan Shillenger (sp) Brody McKnight, Yo Humphries, Craig Ochs, Justin Roper and Nate Montana?

JD Quinn weighs under 200 lbs. now. Levi planning to come to NDSU game. Shann got a coaching job at Nebraska. I know this probably wasn't a serious question.

Ray Rocene was the son of Ray T Rocene a long time Missoulian sports writer. Never thought young Ray was involved with UM sports. Seems like he may have been in track?

One more player I would love to see info on is Ron Rosenberg
I know Ron sort of directly but mostly indirectly. My father and Ron worked years together in banking. His daughter was a year behind me in high school. He's a great guy!
Ron can still be found these days in banking up here in Kalispell.

Wondering about the private lives of others, all this on a anonymous board. IF they had wanted everyone to know about the particulars of their lives, you would know.

You continue to be a total tool. If you don't like the topic of the thread, then stay out of it.

To the posters providing the updates, thanks for the info on the former players I asked about. Always curious to see what some of the guys I knew from the past are doing now.

Rock Sveningsen was from Shelby. His dad was the optomitrist there. I think he took over dad's practice and is still in Shelby.

Herb White was the hardest hitter I remember seeing. It is nice to know that somebody saw him and he is doing well but please provide more info if you have it. Where is he? Doing what?

You are correct about Rock. Still in Shelby as an eye doctor. Great guy

Rock was a tough dude when he played for the Griz. I remember him laying-out a few defenders when he was running the ball. He loved contact.
