Is this what happens to fans when their program goes from being a constant threat to contend for the runner up title, to a program constantly getting shown up from a directional school having high school quality facilities, being associated with a dying university with declining enrollment and struggling to even beat the likes of Northern Colorado?

I was sitting with a group of Bizon fans last night watching the game, they were a good group of people. They were out here for a ski trip. When they lost the game their looks were the equivalent to mine when the Griz lost to Cats that ended the "Streak" A shear puzzlement and beleaguerment as they did not know what to do?

Thank you to those who congratulated us. But to CDA and Everett and IDA you guys haven't a clue about the game of football. The Griz have been in the big sky conference since 1963. You have won 2 titles in 53 years. Think about that? 2 measly titles. The bison have been in the Missouri valley since 2008. We have won 5 titles in 8 years. Your last second win against us last year was your super bowl. There's not a man woman or child alive that doesn't believe that was a fluke. You didn't even make the playoffs this year? Our second team would qualify in top 25 playoff selection. You lost to Montana State for crying out loud! They were 3-7 at the time. So maybe try to win one title in the next decade and then two in a row before you criticize. I absolutely guarantee you the bison will win several more this decade

Wow did you really thank some Griz fans for congratulating the Bison's amazing run and then follow it up with a slam of the pride and tradition of the Montana Grizzlies football program. It's fans like you that made the Bison's loss that much sweeter to enjoy so thanks. I heard North Dakotan's were a little slow but never knew just how "special" some of you are, good job. :clap: :clap: :clap:

Two measly titles is two national championships, you know, what college football teams play for, not the super bowl. I mean damn I was at the Bison-Griz game last year and if I had known that was the Montana Grizzlies super bowl I would have cheered much harder. I could have tried my hardest to be the perfect fan like Bizon is.

If only it wasn't a fluke either, that makes it so much less of an accomplishment considering the handful of losses the Bison had during that run were all clearly flukes. You lost to South Dakota in Fargo last year for crying out loud. So maybe you should try to realize you are nothing more than a loudmouth fan and you did not win any titles, a team you root for did but by all means you should be the only one entitled to criticize since after all "you" have won 5 titles in 8 years. I absolutely guarantee you the bison will not win the title this year. :thumb:

What happened yesterday, last week, last month, or last year does not matter. It has no bearing on the future. Focus on tomorrow, and the next day.

Also it would be impossible to win "several" more this decade. Their are only two games left to be played that NDSU could possibly be in (2018, 2019). Thus your guarantee is already flawed. Maybe a "couple" more this decade, but not several.
