The fact is if a few things had gone the other way the Griz would have had four more wins, by the same token Eastern could have had several more losses.
A lot of guys forget even during the Don Read years there were more than a few games but for a bit of luck would have gone the other way. I realize great teams make that luck, but when everybody is capable as they are now luck can go either way.

Hmmm...NDSU
Seems like Alabama, Ohio State, Clemson, Florida State, et al are pretty dominant year-over-year.

From this day forward I will never lose another Cat Griz game, this past season was your only shot and we put the BOOM on your Stitt. If you are not the lead Cat the view never changes. No more November slump, no more streak, we Own the State.

When was Montana ever an Alabama, Ohio State, Clemson, Florida State in the FCS or for that matter anything but dominate in anything but the BSC ( and then not until it lost its dominate members Boise State, UNR, ior even Idaho to the FCS)? It was never am NDSU. It was always close but never quite there. Even the "dominate" FCS teams have moved on and Montana never quite reached their level of dominance. Yes Montana can and will get better, but "where we were" is mostly a figment of imagination and circumstance.
