When we needed a big play....

I just watched the game on TV after watching it live in Griz stadium Saturday night. One thing that stuck out to me was that It seemed like every time we needed a big play, Jamal Jones was the man to make it happen. There were a number of key 3rd down situations where he caught the football in traffic and converted the 1st down. Like what I'm seeing from this YOUNG transfer!

And a QB who consistently made the play on the other end. It was a tough life being a Griz receiver last year; not this year.

I know it's early......but Wyoming is in trouble...

??? Are we playing Wyoming sometime in the next couple of years?

Ya. Wyoming is our season opener next year. Il be going! I recently moved down to Saratoga Wy to work at a refinery and am only 1 1/2 hours from laramie. I saw the Nebraska game the other day, and Im pretty sure it will be a good game next year. The pokes QB reminds me of JJ. Hes from salem OR too so he may have played against JJ in high school. The guy is very mobile and has a good arm. He also seems to have command of the offense. I can hardly wait for this game. For one, I love regional matchups like ND, UI, WY, NDSU, etc, and secondly, I would love for the Griz to get a win down here so I can rub it in all my co-workers faces! Haha

We're playing @Wyoming and @NDSU next year in a 12-game season, plus the grind of BSC conference play...

That's already pretty brutal. :?

But just think how cool of a season it could be!!! What if we come out of Wyoming and NDSU with wins? We would be battle tested, and prepared for anything. Cal Poly beat the Pokes last season, so I think we will stack up well against WY. NDSU will have a new QB next season, so who knows what their prognosis will be. Im sure they have a very capable replacement in the ranks, but you never know. Anyways, these will be real cool regional matchups! I can't wait!

NDSU lose their starting QB and RB if I'm remembering correctly.

Brutal schedule, yes...no guts, no glory. If you want to be the best you need to step up. No more Panhandle States, please. Keep it up AD.
