that both the cats and Griz missed the playoffs? Mid 80's maybe?
I know there is alot of football to be played, but right now both teams have a ton of work to do to make playoffs.

The Griz have missed the playoffs 2 times in the last 20 years and the Cats have made the playoffs 7 times in the last 20 years.

Yeah, I get it and that is fair. I just went back 20 years for some historical perspective. My point is that one team has made the playoffs 18 of the last 20 years and the other has made the playoffs 7 of the last 20 years.

Just my opinion, but it seems odd to say “when was the last time they both didn’t make the playoffs”. It’s like saying the Cats and Griz have 10 players in the NFL. Kind of misleading.

I deal with the “we” game all the time from by Bobcat buddies. There is always some angle that makes things seem more even then they really are. Again, just my opinion.

I think you missed the point.

Whether you say "we" or "neither Montana teams", etc., if leaves the impression that both are perennial playoff teams, which I thought was kind of misleading.

Actually I do appreciate it and was going to post something along those lines over there. I've agreed with almost all of your recent comments on BN, even though it felt dirty and wrong. Until I saw this tidbit here, haha. I, for one, really enjoy when UM fans talk honestly there. Pure football discussions are much better like that - but I don't expect you to understand
