When was the last time…

This has nothing to do with anything, but I remember when Skyview was first built. My hubby and I hadn't lived in Billings very long and we were out in that area driving around just to see what was there. At first we wondered if it was a prison since it was in the middle of nowhere and didn't really look very inviting as far as architecture goes. I haven't been back there in more than 20 years but I wonder what the area looks like now.

West, Senior, Central, Skyview, Lockwood.
I neglected to frame my comments within the context of the Billings School District. Here's the article I referred to:
https://www.ktvq.com/news/local-new...he second consecutive,in the state of Montana.
Lockwood is a separate district and Central is private parochial, and both have about the same enrollment, 550-600, so they won't qualify for Class AA status anytime soon.
Growing up in Billings, playing football at Senior (I was a nobody), then officiating football in Missoula for several years, I've followed high school football in the state for a while. One thing I know is that Billings has attempted to build a 4th high school, but the bonds never pass elections.
That pretty much says it all. They have tried the bond route, and it failed. The populace has to get uncomfortable before bonds will pass. What is 'uncomfortable?' Here is a link which 'uncomfortable' gets defined:
And that was High School, Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors, only.
I'm sure Kalispell, Missoula, Helena, Bozeman, and Billings all have their anecdotes.

I care. My dad played in 30's. When did anyone in your family play for Griz? Terry Falcon in 70's and then in NFL. Shane Cochran played several years ago. Bridger Salvevold is on team now.

When was last time you weren't a dick?
Yesterday. How about YOU, PR?
My point was that, the Kaplispell-Glacier, Missoula Hellgate-Sentinel-Big Sky, Helena-Helena Capital, Bozeman-Gallatin, Great Falls-CMR, Billings Senior-West-Skyview rivalries go out the window once one is a Griz. You all become Maroon and Silver. Oh, well, 24 hours of being a non-dick is a start.(y) I think I'll try again, after my closing shot. You, yourself, should try not being a dick sometime, PR. I know you have much bigger fish to fry, but TRY. Now you understand, Richard? :ROFLMAO:

It’s unrecognizable. Pretty well built up around it now.

Which high schools in Montana are the best at football?
Dillon in Class A has had a hell of a run over the last 15 years. The year Troy Andersen was a senior was wild. Their basketball team was absolutely filthy that year, too. They went undefeated even including games against AA schools. They had a red haired kid that was just knocking down 3's while Troy attacked the paint. It was the most dominant Class A team I've ever seen.

Helena Capital is easily the most consistently elite in the last 35 years.
