I could have walked on to a Big Sky conference football conference team if I wanted to and spent more time lifting weights in high school. I’m 6’1 but my slim stature at the time was really what was holding me back. Some of the guys I played against just in high school include Kenny Bell 5th round pick by Buccaneers, Dan Skipper biggest player currently in NFL with 64 NFL games played across 8 seasons primarily on the Lions and Dewey Wingard with 98 career NFL games across 7 seasons all with the Jacksonville Jaguars. Dan Skipper and Andrew Wingard will both play in NFL playoffs this season. Kenny Bell had some injuries limiting his NFL career but he is one of the best college wide receivers all time from the Nebraska Cornhuskers.

I think Penn State has unrealistic expectations, they are behind all these teams in NIL:
Ohio State, Michigan, Alabama, Georgia, LSU, Texas A&M, Florida, Tennessee, Ole Miss, South Carolina, Oregon, USC, Texas, Oklahoma, Notre Dame, Clemson, Miami, Florida State, BYU, Washington, Texas Tech.
