When is it going to leak out or get announced that Vigen is departing?

Vigen is a very good coach. He deserves better than OS.I remember when he took over for Choate everyone said no way he could make the team better than it was. Well he not only made it better but for an FCS team top tier. He's a solid professional coach. I would sign him in a New York minute. He is a steal for OS.
Does he really? Name a better school willing to take a FCS coach. Let’s see now. Off the top of my head there were other FCS coaches who made moves to
Wyoming
Kansas State - better results than I expected and better pay than most.
U of New Mexico
Nevada
Washington State
Utah State
UNLV
Stanford

Oregon State is on par with all of the schools, except Stanford and K State. One of those didn’t work out so well.

Chris Kleiman was crying at the podium Saturday and played UND closer than he ever did at NDSU earlier this season. Hard to argue that Stanford or K State worked out well. The type of recruiting at FBS and FCS is totally different especially coming from a program stuck in the past like NDSU.

This statement is both incorrect and misleading.

I don't believe it it the distraction many are claiming. College sports have changed and the year to year expectations are different. Players and coaches know this.
This may be true for many schools but we’re talking msu. Their response will be complete chaos. I expect Ouija Boards, seances, and rioters lighting the shit pond on fire in protest.

Another good reason to avoid Clown Town.

If vigen is hired away, he'll no doubt bring some of his top staff, and some top talent including qb, and lineman. It will be a much bigger adjustment than choate leaving to Texas, as choate did not take any staff or players with him. The only player that followed him from Montana was Gabe Sultzer from UM 😭😂

The biggest thing going for MSU is the amount of Montana studs they have, id assume they all largely stay with MSU. I bet guys like Adam Jones, Cole Taylor etc stay with msu. I bet the dowler twins stay, etc.
Do any of the top staff still wear ankle monitors and are prohibited from leaving the state?

Serious question.

Kleiman has done a great job at K-State and you seem to be totally misrepresenting the reason he was crying.
From what I gathered he was crying because he was upset they lost when he thought his players played well and also because their fans are calling for him to be fired due to not winning enough. 35-27 in the Big 12 is not doing a great job at K State. I think he has done an ok job and is frustrated because he was a hell of a lot better than just ok at NDSU.

You should regather.

Kliman had the advantage in that the K-State AD that hired him also hired him when he was the NDSU AD. Stanford hired Taylor because his accomplishments in the area were well documented and he had been a Power 5 coordinator at Utah. Power 5 and even “better” Group of 4 AD’s and money boosters are not rolling out the red carpet for FCS head coaches, no matter their record. My guess is OSU got down to 2 choices that would work within their ability to pay a head coach and assistants that they could afford. One being a veteran and accomplished FCS head coach from MSU and one being a position coach with no coordinator or head coaching experience from Alabama. The others on their shortlist most likely passed when they saw the salary pool for head and assistant coaches. Just my guess.
