Yeah, I like this one as well! I do like "The Brawl of the Wild" as it's unique and fits perfectly, but I agree with Everett that the Great Divide Game does describe this rivalry as well.

To me Cat/Griz always rolled off the tongue better, mainly I feel ending things with a z just felt right while the cat ending feels very abrupt. Plus the Griz will get the last laugh, save the best for last, etc.

Do you ever call it The Brawl of the Wild in an ordinary conversation though? It's kinda like Independence day. I don't think I've ever called the 4th of July Independence day except in this post.

I do it all the time. I've lived away from the MT for years, and always describe the game as the Brawl. Most of the time people ask what the brawl is, then I use the full name. Feedback I get from people is pretty positive. Most have never heard it before, sadly...

I like it.
