In 5 to 10 years for football. Will all the current members still be part of it? Will any drop football or move along. Will we see new members join?
There appears to be changes coming to college football which will have a domino effect. Some programs will have to s--t or get off the pot so to speak.
So what are your thoughts?
I for one think the BSC will have a differ look to it within that time. I think we could see a couple teams move out and a couple move in from some Div II ranks. Maybe Western Oregon and Central Washington. I think both UM and MSU are part of that BSC!
If the Big 5 does not allow "FCS" games, I could see Sac State, C Poly, PSU and maybe even EWU wanting to be in the 2nd tier FBS, or whatever it will be so they have those payday games. I would imagine the SBC would take them to get more western teams for the SBC. I think for these programs to survive they will have to take that leap. Each program has Big 5 teams in there state. I know, you might be thinking, what about NAU and Webs. I think they stay in the BSC and struggle along.
I could see UNC, SUU and sadly even UC Davis bag football or maybe even drop to the next level, whatever it may be! Same could be said for ISU.
I think UND moves into MVC or similar to fill a void that opens there. Maybe fill NDSU spot if they go SBC route.
