Me either. but like you said effective for 2 3 and 4 yards, and you never know when one might open for a huge gain. We're gonna see a lot of offensive plays from the play book. Will see how good the players execute this game, and most important the qb gets into rhythm.

I don't think Stitt will open the full playbook for this game. No reason to do so....

Griz will not overlook Valpo, but this is an extension of Fall Camp for them. Gel the Offensive Line, Get the QB tuned into game-speed requirements, and build some depth with plenty of time for 2s/3s.

Wow. Do all that in 3 plays????

Stitt will take what the defense gives him!

So if the defense only gives us a yard at a time, that is what he will continue to take? Or........

That happened a lot in the red zone last year. I'm hoping our stud running back and improved o-line will take more than what the defense gives.

  Well, the Griz do want to play fast, so I am sure they can get all of the above done in three plays. It may require going for it on 4th.

It does depends on what the defensive gives us. If they play us man to man coverge were gonna see some bombs thrown, and slice and dice in the middle. If they play us in zone were gonna see bubble screens for big gains, and the running game running wild and wearing down the the d line.

I have a relative(through marriage) who is a big Broncos fan.
He suggested first run second throw and if in range field goal on third in case it is missed then try field goal again.
Can't make this stuff up, reality is a tough pill to swallow.

In my opinion coach Stitt will actually run the ball on first down. Then he will throw a screen pass on second down. If the grizz don't get a first down he will throw a stick route to the tight end.

Not sure about #3.

1. Quick pass to the outside for JLM.

2. Run off right tackle

3. Pass over the middle 5 + yards deep

Me too, was the point I was trying to make, thank you.

Can't believe this is still a thread. I've been saying it for years; the Reverse Fake Z Post out of single back 3-wide is the best play ever conceived. If Stitt doesn't run this play, he's taking points off the board.

I agree. I think sometime this year they do play action pass long touchdown....maybe against EWooo. Because of this, I'd bet the first play in each of the first 3 games is a dive play.

three straight bubble screens to JLM.

that was last year......remember, this year, the qb will have less plays to consider based on his read,
keep it clean and simple and let the athleticism and talent not get in the way of coaching or vice versa.

I think I heard BS say during the coaches show, Selle is calling plays and BS signaling them into the qb. He said he won't have to fumble with play cards etc. and able to be more of a head coach managing the entire game, not just the offense. I'm sure BS will have lots of input into the offense pay calling, but less than last year.
Did anyone else catch that during the show?
