what to do with Graves ?

You got a cute little team over there who will probably give some BSC teams fits this year, and that’s something to be proud of. But they will get “#neveragained” once they go up against another true running team from a true running conf, or when they need to pass. I think the only way a BSC team has a chance at the title these days is with a good QB and thru the air. The history is clear there. So you guys are really just treading water, and have been for 4 years.
And I’m serious about TA getting screwed. Not actually the legal part but I would be super pissed if I was his relative (and all recruits should take note: Choach only looks out for his own best interests, not the player’s). Had he been developed properly at LB since the get-go, he probably would have had some scout’s eyes watching for him in the TT game, and maybe he did. But, he kind of looked lost in that game, certainly not a draft prospect, and now he’s already a JR with less time to get his tape out there, and more of these goofy carries that can only hurt his draft status (if he doesn’t get injured) but what the hell do I know

Thanks. I guess we do have a cute little team? :?

If "neveragained" means we will lose if we play a true running team in a true running conference I guess I'd have to say maybe. I'm not out here predicting National Championships so I agree the chances of us losing to a better team are better than the chances of us winning the whole thing. So on that I suppose we sort of agree....

If we play NDSU again I would also agree our chances of winning would likely be less than our chances of losing. So I guess if losing to them is now some terrible thing I'll concede it could happen.

I'm not worried about TA. Or his family. They all seem to be having the times of their lives. I guess if it was a 100% certainty he was going to be an NFL linebacker and this staff was ruining his chances you may have a sliver of a point. If he's good enough at any position he'll get a shot. Right now he's a very good football player that helps our team on both sides of the ball.

I totally get why Griz fans would not like this situation. I understand why to you they are "goofy" carries. To me they are carries by our best athlete to try and score points. TA loves it so who am I to say he's wrong?

I never know what the (if he doesn't get injured) thing means but I agree that I too hope he doesn't get injured. But he's playing football so he certainly could. But I have that same hope for anyone on the Cats and even the griz! Gasp. Injuries suck.

I thought the Cats looked like the better team this past weekend from start to finish despite the half-time score. It wasn’t super close in my opinion. What I don’t know is, is how good SEMO actually is. It is not unusual for a team to have a good ranking early on in the season to do nothing but drop precipitously off the top 25 list never to be heard from again. SEMO was not impressive at all. Question is, is that because they suck or because the Cats are good. Time will tell.

Probably a little of both as is always the case this early on. The games will be played and things will shake themselves out.

Yes, absolutely. I was thinking the same thing about the first two opponents the griz played. Do they suck really bad or are the griz really good? griz probably won't know how well they're going to stack up in the Big Sky until the UCD game. For the Cats, we'll see how things shake out but currently things are looking pretty damn good. Talk about a schedule that sets up perfectly if we're going to make a run at the Big Sky Title and playoff run. Cats don't play the two top teams Weber and EWU. Play UCD away, but they may not be as good as advertised? Play UM at home, and it's looking like NAU and Sac might be better than advertised and we play them both at home. If Choate doesn't get it done with this set up, Bobcat fans might have a melt down.

Yep, I think at this point you should be optimistic. You all played well last week and your schedule is pretty favorable, though as you alluded to, maybe a couple of teams are better than expected and the schedule isnt as favorable as presumed. After 4-5 more games I think we will know more about our both Griz and Cats. I dont think either game this weekend will tell us much about our teams if they go as expected. I think you should win and we should lose. If those two things dont happen than one or both of us may know alot more about our teams than we thought.

No, my problem is I love this situation because I love the rivalry :thumb:
And I can’t help but love TA.....
(and the linebacker from Dillon).

Now all that we 1,000% agree on!
