Not that it really matters, anymore, but I think we can put to rest the Patriots/Character issue. This guy fell from possible 1st round to middle of the 7th after assaulting a police officer. Looks like most teams took him off their board completely, but NE wasn't one of them.

He didnt do it....the cops were out to get him. I heard from a very reliable source he was a perfect gentleman to the police officers. I will bet you a grand the charges are dropped.

Regardless of whether he pushed and punched a cop, he got into a fight with someone at a bar at 2am 5 days before the draft which is a red flag.

I wouldn't be shocked if Dennard's charges are dropped, considering this guy Caputo was found passed out in the driver's seat of his car, blew over 0.08, and didn't get a DUI. But, are the Patriots the only NFL team with reliable sources? Top talent at a premier position, 27 CB's go before him. Unbelievable drop.
