what really happened as quoted by MTGriz87

For people like you who don't understand the game perhaps, but for those who understand the game and played it, not necessarily a big deal. It depends on what happens after the incident. This one looks like it got worked out quickly. The two talked and hugged. The player continued it the game and did well. The player and coach sat next to each other in the press conference and talked, even whispered to each other. It may turn out that there is now more respect for each other on both sides.
Most people on this forum have no idea. Unless you have played college football you wouldn't know. So stop trying to act like you do. These types of situations happen all the time on college sidelines. We ask these players and coaches to play a game of "legal war" and play with library language to entertain us? Heaven forbid if anyone gets their feelers hurt. Believe it or not, the outcome of this situation will be nothing but positive for the team and I can guarantee the team doesn't care what you think of it.

I once heard that on senior day he said something like, "I'd like to congratulate all my seniors today but I won't because they are all a bunch of pussies." Not sure if it's true but it's been told a few times.
If you add about three more expletives before pussies, you’d be more accurate. The dude was a savage.

This had been building all year with Hauck's favoritism of a clearly inferior QB over Fife and limiting his PT, contributing to compromised team performance. I've been a BH supporter all along and know him personally, but this is crossing the line for me. I wonder if we would have even seen Fife at all had Ah Yat not gotten hurt. Ah Yat's zero in the first half reminds me of the UND game second half when he couldn't find a first down. We are a dangerous offense with Fife in the game.

I'm a Don Read air raid guy and admit I was pleased with Ah Yat getting experience and the Pease offense.
I believe what has happened is Hauck promised Fife a chance to be starter after fair competition. The competition took place but it wasn't fair. After the last several games no one can't say Fife was treated fairly. Hauck has lied to him and he is pissed about it. The display on Saturday was way over the top and I think Hauck is going to feel heat from the university. This behavior won't be tolerated by a woke university. I think Hauck realizes his mistake and the hugs and post game conference were an attempt to downplay the ordeal. Any future QB transfers will not be interested in Griz if he has other opportunities and Hauck is the guy making promises.

As someone who has taught teenagers for over twenty years, I can safely say they (and their parents) are much softer about things like this than you would think. The increase in parental complaining over little Johnny’s 95% on his AP US History test (missing that 5% is most certainly the teacher’s fault!), at least in my anecdotal experiences, has gotten bad. Wasn’t that way when I started out. I haven’t played D1 football, so maybe this is the norm and is expected. But with what I know about teenagers and their parents, I could see them being offended by this type of thing. My .02.

I don’t agree. Especially last half of post

Exactly where I am with all of it. Perfectly stated
