I guess I just don't know what the coaches are looking at... today it was so obvious that Calhoun was the best back we had and they kept going back to the Seniors.

I see this a lot with this coaching staff. The refuse to stay with things that are working, and continue to force things that are not.

Take a look at the D, How many times were the Griz secondary in man coverage this year... 80% of the time. THAT DOES NOT WORK in the pass happy BS Conference. I don't know the exact number but it was very high. NAU made it simple... just hold the D line and chuck it deep. Thats pop warner like football, and no changes (or few) gave the DB's zero chance.

On O... I think the QB's are given too much leeway in changing plays... Just line up and KICK the other teams asses, stop trying to be so cute.

more experience in this system

maybe rethink the super aggressive defense, as we had too many big plays given up, with out he offense to overcome those inherent mistakes in the scheme

What's your qb situation look like next year? I know you have GJ. Who else is in the wings if he's not ready?

Reese Phillips
Seriously? You'll only have 2 qb's on the team other than incoming freshmen?

There are other quarterbacks on the team but Reese is one who has a legitimate shot at the starting role next year, besides Jensen. I don't know much about the rest, maybe somebody else does.

Calhoun was playing with an injury, which is why I don't think he was getting the playing time he deserved because he was quite obviously the better back today.

That being said I have heard from players that Stitt likes to play favorites. It was a shame Chalich was never even given the opportunity today. Going forward I hope this is not the case.

In his 14 years at School of Mines, Stitt was in 2 first round play-offs and one 2nd round. Why would we expect anything different here?
