What if...(Tinkle)

Would that be any better than Fresno? As for the program, they will be in the same conference. Vegas is certainly funner, and a basketball school. Away from the court though, again, is it worth it

Uh, Vegas has many beautiful and very safe neighborhoods and about 760% better weather than Missoula. Henderson has less crime than Missoula in recent years.

I'm sorry Mtgrizrule, but I'm growing weary of people thinking that Missoula is so far superior to these other places that a man should (hypothetically) refuse a substantial pay increase during his prime earning years.

FWIW, I have a cousin who has worked in Vegas and lived in Henderson for the past five years. She can NOT wait to retire (a couple more years) and get back to Montana (not Missoula, incidentally).

Thanks. Perfect example of someone who lives in a place for work.

Guilty as charged. :thumb:

I have been wondering where we would go if he did leave? Is somebody in-house ready to take over the reigns? Seems like Hill would be the only real canidate on the staff now. Any other thoughts?

Man, I hate even having to think about that, I like Tinks!

Hard to see Tinkle getting serious consideration for the UNLV job... Dave Rice (BYU assistant) and Reggie Theus will get first cracks at the job, and they are guys with high profiles and ties to UNLV. I think a lot would have to happen for Tinkle to actually get consideration for the gig.

Krysko....though I doubt he'd come back, and I doubt the U of M would have him.
