What Happened?

PlayerRep,

I skipped the Good, Bad, and Ugly summary for this one because there was no good (outside of Dante, Eastwood, and some good defense on short fields), a shit load of bad, and dumpster fire of ugly. Yes it was that bad.

PR think about this, on EGRIZ we can't agree on anything...except this.

This team looked like they were out on the town the night before the game. Was Chris doing shots with them Friday night?
Reminded me of the 2009 SFA vs Griz Quarterfinal Game the Griz won 51-0 in large part due to the Lumberjacks out drinking the night before.
In any Case Coach Hauck will right the ship and the Griz will be back in stride/

Loved every post. Very informative and funny. Got stuck in Denver tonight. Thx.

While I don't know, I still think the team has a chance to be good.

If you have to watch, watch the second half only. We moved the ball better, running game was averaging 5+ a carry, oline looked, well, ok, and defense was good for the most part. Aside from the turnovers, and a 52 yard fg, second half was a better game to watch.

Portland is a top 10 team, we played them tough.........no really they are...plus their coach is kind of funny and none of their players realized they were no supposed to win at WGS..
Does Portland even have a football team? I know PSU does.

I fixed it for you :) yes they have a very good team they beat us at home so that proves they are very good. I agree with PR we are going to be fine.

You have to be kidding, their only other win was beating college of Idaho? Whatever that is. They are not good. Msu beat them by 20 so what does that make them than? Montana may very well turn their season around, but make no mistake this was a bad loss that very well might cost them a playoff berth.

yes i am freaking kidding...I predicted a blow out and yes this is as bad as loss as I remember and no PSU is not a top 10 team but Bruce Barnum was pretty funny in the post game interview.

Then decided to pass (and fumble) on 2nd and 3...with the lead....in their territory.....and clock moving. Sure woulda liked to see another few runs right then.

Early (and late) miscues kept PSU in the game and I have to hand it to PSU playing pretty well all day long. PSU had a knack for getting the ball out. Even several of the successful Griz plays had me cringing to "hold on" as PSU slapped grabbed and hit at the ball.

Sports are unpredictable and Saturday's game a prime example.
