What is the scoop at PSU? Beat Gonzaga in Spokane, lose to UW by 1. Injuries? Dissention in the ranks?
Fill me in please? Thanks :o

1. Never as good as they think they are.
2. Never as bad as they think they are.

For PSU, I think number 1 brought them down to earth. Plus, it appears they may have peaked to early. In addition, there are still more games to go to right their ship.

I asked that recently too, and PSU followers have not ventured into reasoning. From what I have seen a few things have happened.

(1) The lack of inside scoring presence has caught up to them. I honestly feel they have the players to be effective inside offensively. They are athletic. For reasons beyond me, they just do not look to establish the inside game.

(2) Too many players that have too similar games. They have alot of athletic perimeter oriented players. In turn they have become too predictable.

(3) Dominguez is not on his game. In think his run in down in Mexico combined with rumors of clubbing have taken it's toll and causing dissension (sp?). They basically are lacking leadership this year. GRIZ fans can understand that all too well from the last few years.

(4) Too many players caring more about their games than the team.

Any PSU followers please give us better insight.

The proverbial guarantee to not lose another game is coming back and biting them in the butt.

I would say it's a lack of leadership.

A few there gettin' too big fer their britches and no one to rope 'em back in.

I couldn't pinpoint a single thing...but I know one thing. I'M LOVING EVER SECOND OF IT!!! I was so disgusted with their attitude early in the conference season. The chest pumping and crowd taunting after the 4 OT win in Flagstaff, then guarantees to go undefeated in conference, then the guarantees after the first loss to Weber not to lose anymore games. I think their attitudes got in the way. I have been saying for two months that Ken Bone needs to reel in his boys...He has done that as of late, but the damage may be done... Its just to bad they got the Griz the way they did in December.

Congrats on the turnaround from here Portland Oregon!
