What happened to fan in Section 106?

We are in Section 107 and we saw two Liberty trainers jump up into the section next to us to help a Griz fan who was sick (heat/smoke). They stayed and helped until paramedics showed up. Hats off to them.

I was in Sec. 105, not far from where he was. There were EMTs, a police officer, a slew of UM security, & I don't know what all. He did not seem in dire straits, just sitting there, talking to the personnel while they checked him out. Finally, they assisted him out, up the aisle I was on. He had an oxygen breather in his nose, and going up under his own power.

similar situation in 229B for an elderly lady. She as in a little worse shape though that this person was it sounds like

I was sitting directly behind the man. He passed out sitting upright and he had no pulse. We called 911. We laid him down and we were going start CPR. As we laid him down he regained consciousness. He had a Twinkie in his mouth and began chewing it. It was bizarre. Initially, I thought he was dead. He kept saying he was fine. He is apparently a diabetic. The Liberty trainers suddenly appeared and took over. They were great. When the EMT's got there they monitored his heart and strongly suggested that he go with them to St. Pat's. He balked at first and then agreed and that is where they took him.

Who thinks it is because they have a strong belief in God? Discuss. :)

You don't need a faith in god to help another human being, or any animal for that matter, who is in distress. Are you suggesting that UM trainers or trainers from any other team would not have acted as the Liberty trainers did?

yes, their tireless work to change laws in order to force everybody to think and act like them is very classy, indeed.

And we have a nibble... hahaha

I believe that they do have an affinity to help others and be good people. Watching some of the commercials on the replayed game.. . at home grrrr... (1st home game I've missed since 2002 btw- wedding)- they are very faithful to thier Christianity- nothing wrong with that. I believe that even though we are not a Christian school, our trainers would have acted the same way if they saw the same thing happening. A big THANK YOU to Liberty for what sounded like being a very classy program and caring individuals.

A good basic rule -- friends don't let friends get married on Griz game days.

I was pretty sure the man's heart restarted after Dan Moore punched the ground in frustration when a Liberty player made a touchdown saving shoes string tackle on him.
