Stitt supporters / optimists are happy because we'll beat a very good NAU team tomorrow and get back on track for the playoffs.

Stitt detractors / pessimists are happy because we'll lose to a very good NAU team tomorrow and anti-Stitt momentum will grow.

I know a lot of "Stitt detractors." I don't know a single one that is happy when the Griz lose. Just because they are critical of the leadership of the team does not mean they are not good Griz fans. They care about the success of the program, possibly more so than the "Stitt supporters", who think everything is either OK or will work out. Everyone wishes the Stitt experiment had produced better results. The difference is the "Stitt detractors" recognize the results are not there and they are not in denial regarding their hoped outcome.

Let's see . . .
Stitt detractors want the Griz to win (your implication).
If the Griz win out, Stitt keeps his job.
So, Stitt detractors want Stitt to keep his job?
Seems logical.

Or, stop traffic, could it be that they really don't want the Griz to win out? Hmmm.

Stitt detractors want the Griz to win out AND Stitt to get fired. You know, have their cake and eat it too.

Oh, how could I have been so blind? So, if the Griz win out and make the playoffs, will they want UM to win the NC, and then have Stitt fired after that? If not, which game are these "great fan" Stitt detractors hoping the UM players (especially seniors) will lose so they can be right about the staff?

"Stitt detractors" is a label constructed by "Stitt supporters" that encompasses a wide swath of vested fans that want more success for the program and are critical of aspects of the current trajectory. "Stitt supporters" feel the need to demonize "Stitt detractors" because they are very defensive about the program leadership and its withering success. Claiming "Stitt detractors" want the Griz to lose is just that kind of nonsense.

Let's actually make it simple: Do you want Stitt to keep the job after this year?

Sure, because if he does, that means the team will actually perform these last three games. I would love to see 8-3. But I'm skeptical because when was the last time we had a quality win? Do you think I want to see another MSU game like last year? Or a game start like last week? ST importance escapes Stitt. Painful. But if the finish is another like last year, we need something better and he needs to go. Is that simple enough?

Stopped reading after I noted that you support the staff and want to see them succeed. The rest of it didn't much matter.
