”...and their kicker sucks...”

See, you just don’t get this in depth of analysis of the FCS from ESPN. This is what I come here for.

Well, he's 4-12 on FG's. I'll leave the detailed analysis to the experts.... :D :D

Looks like they cover parts of the track during football games. Don't think I've seen that done before.

Oh, good lord, the weather thingy has started already?

...this place will be unbearable next week if it’s SELA. Good grief.

PLAYOFFS IN MISSOULA, BABY

I know this gets into a who plays who scenario but for what it’s worth I saw the New Hampshire vs Duquesne game in person earlier this season. Despite Duquesne have lost 9 starters for the season going into the game they played the them respectable.
Even with all 4 starting LB’s and 2 starting DB’s our on defense and playing in New Hampshire they held NH to 23 points.

Villanova gave up 28.

The game won’t be close being played in Montana.

I don’t know anything about SELA

Go Griz

The best thing is that it's in Louisiana.
I always prefer a team from the warm weather headed up to the frozen tundra of WaGriz.
Well, to an extent. But it has to be really cold, even for Missoula.

One of my fondest memories -- and favorites stories -- goes way back to when Stephen S. Austin visited WaGriz in 1995 (the championship year). I flew back directly to Missoula from a business trip on Friday night ... and the SFA cheer squad was at the terminal waiting for their ride. One of them came in from outside and a plaintive voice said, "Seven degree! That's not a temperature!" Well, yes, it was, and their team got pummeled 70-14.

But that was extreme. Most of the time, people from Texas -- as one example -- will tell you: "Your 'dry cold' is not so bad. A 40º day in Dallas, with humidity over 80-90%, is way worse than 30º when the humidity is maybe 20-30%." And, having felt both, I have to agree.

That may be the game I remember when I bring up weather. I thought it was a team from La. but I have CRS disease pretty bad. I do remember looking before the game at their o-line and thinking '' o shift these guys are huge '' But it was real old time MT cold and they were standing around shivering. We crushed'em.
I will still take playing a team from warm weather and hope for zero degrees and below December weather. Hell we should play a night game if it's SELA. I know that won't happen but I can fan-tasize on a fan board
And I remember Coastal Carolina, a good team with a really good coach. I was at both games and I'll be back for The Dec 7th game. Should be just a little louder in the NEZ. :)
