The Griz are 8-0 against SDSU and our coach, BH, is 0-3 in NC games. Betting odds are the Griz are an underdog by 10+ points. Most national sport reporters have the SDSU dominating the Griz in every statistical category except ST. SDSU are undefeated (28-0 +/-) in games over the past few years. SDSU is the defending FCS FB Champion. Many say they are the next NDSU and will dominate the FCS for the next 10 years.

Do zeros mean anything?

To me the Griz will be 9-0 against SDSU after our next meet-up in Frisco. The one thing SDSU doesn't have statistically over the Griz is that the Griz have team chemistry. It is an positive intangible. SDSU expects to win. They don't respect the Griz this year. However, the Griz are peaking at the right time. The Griz are playing as a total unit with each player doing their part. I don't think most sport reporters have actually watched a full Griz game over the past month and are only reporting on internet tidbits and relying on SDSU's recent history. To me the Griz also have a winning history. We are a "Blue Blood" and will continue to add to the Griz lore/tradition in FCS history.

Go Griz

Vegas has been wrong half a dozen times this year regarding the Griz so there's obviously an intangible aspect with this team that can't be easily quantified.

Just win baby, that is all.

With three weeks to prepare, the coaching staffs may have an outsized effect on the game. Seems like the UM staff is one of the more experienced staffs top to bottom in the FCS. Get scheming guys!

Go forth and win the championship. I'm pulling for you and I'm sure that the rest of the BSC is as well. Bring it back for all of us.

Not sure about that.

SDSU 20, MSU 16
Montana 37; MSU 7

This is no secret to them; they will be ready. We will be ready. We will have to beat them at their best. We can.

Go Griz

SDSU is not the next NDSU. They are very senior heavy on their roster. They expect to win, but they will not take the Grizzlies for granted. Game is going to come down to speed. I don’t think one team will be more physical than the other. Will be a smash mouth contest. Both can pass, both have good lines and good backs. Both have good QB’s. One has been there, done that. The other is calm under pressure but needs to play to win and trust his instincts. I don’t know that SDSU has seen a defense that is as fast as the Grizzlies. I expect a lower scoring game. Take the points. Griz will cover on this one. Fontes needs to show up. White, Bergen - just play like they have been. Shafer - don’t hold and hopefully they throw him the ball a bit. Running backs will have to grind this one out.

0 snow in Missoula and reasonable temps for the next 2 weeks. I believe that I saw a good snowstorm forecast for South Dakota. Do they have an indoor practice facility?

Jacks fan here…looking forward to the matchup in a week and a half.

Yes, the Jacks have an excellent indoor practice facility.

Yes they do have a permanent structure indoor practice facility and have had for almost a decade.

Their fans may not respect the Griz but guaranteed their players and coaching staff. SDSU’s head coaches last game as a player, was the big comeback win for the Griz about 15 years ago. I guarantee he has not forgotten.

I feel your comment is right on. The Griz will have a good game plan prepared.
