I love being a special subset. Griz fan 1965 first game saying adios to this stupid board.

Aw, now don't be like that. No need for adios. There's sets, subsets, subsets of subsets, kinda like a Venn diagram. Look at me, I managed to get in a dust-up with folks I think I more or less agreed with! I think the moon has people feeling a little more emotional than usual... ;)

Dude, it's the fourth game of his first year. Give the man at least one season before you call for his replacement

Did Joe Glenn win the NC in his first year?
Almost.
Glenn said he was handed the keys to the Cadillac and all he did was to try not to crash it. I doubt at the end of last year anyone thought Stitt was in a similar position in his first year. Clearly loads of talent but some real questions remained to be answered. It could be an NC year this year and if it is then clearly Stitt deserves all of the credit. More likely it won't be and Stitt will have a few more years to do some front end work, straighten the frame, refresh the interior, and fire up the engine.

Possibly, but I am still wondering how other teams, supposedly lesser than UM, can play so well against CalPoly and stifle their offense with relative ease....

I think you should be wondering more about how Poly was able to stifle the Griz offense....they have not shown much against any other offense...

In name only...

:? :? :?

CP scored more points against MSU, had 360 yards of rushing and 406 yards of offense
CP scored the same # of points against UNI, had 350 yards rushing and 427 yards of offense

Our DEFENSE wasn't the problem against CP. Surely you can see that.

Aren't the seniors having to learn their 3rd offense in 4 years? I'm kind of a rookie at this.
PS don't know a ton about football, but know a Tight End when I see one

He needs time to recruit players that fit his system. Once he does his offense will roll. It was the same way with the Cats. Now they have Cramsey's type of player and they are rolling.

Wash your damn mouith out...dont ever imply that we need to do something the cats are.

I do think the Griz need to on this. You may not like it but it's true. Face reality!

We all agree then?
I like how we have all come together.
At the start of this thread it sounded like it may get tossed by the mad mods.
Griz fans are on a roll with coach Stitt.
And of course most of us have quit nipping on booze aka beer during the pre game warmups...
Now that most of you abstain I may go undetected as I carry on, thank you!

I do not like Coach Stitt's seeming unwillingness to adjust during a game. Last week when the offense came out in a wing formation Jerome flipped out. I just don't think running 2 formations is going to get it done.

Gotta admit this is a pretty high approval rating for the new guy considering our record. I'm glad most of us are staying grounded. So many variables he has to work with his first year here. I'm truly excited for the future. The last few years in the back of my mind I knew the season was bound to end sooner than we all wished. I see potential with Stitt at the reins. Give it a couple years.

You lost me with that post. I have no idea what you were trying to say.
