What about Van Vliet?

Does anyone know if Van Vliet medical redshirted, or what? I know he got in for a minute or two early in the season, but never played after that. He's one of the highest rated recruits out of high school that we've had in a while and I'd like to see what he can do.

Scouts.com has him ranked 3 stars and considering he injured his patellar tendon and missed his senior year, he'd likely be ranked higher than that. I know stars aren't a perfect measure of the athlete, but are a decent measure of a player's talent level.

Rivals has Rundles rated 3. He and V V are the only 2 Griz in the last few years rated so high.

Is his knee bothering him still, or did they just realize that they should have redshirted him from the beginning and used the knee as an excuse?

That's two consecutive seasons he hasn't played. Is this guy going to be alright or is this another Jolly Rigetti situation?

I don't tihink it's like Righetti. Didn't Jolly tear his ACL? VV tore his patellar tendon, which is more rare, but I don't think it's as serious. The nature of the two injuries are completely different.
