What A Great Place for College Football

My wife and I had an almost perfect 5 days in Missoula. We want to thank y'all for being such great host and fans of the game. What a time we had everywhere we went, Reds, Iron Skillet, Double Front Chicken, The Kettle House, the park on Friday honoring y'all's wounded veteran - a great turn out there and the ribs were terrific - as well as the community in raising the money - husband and wife trying to outbid each other on the same item, several other bars that we dipped in and out of, the Black Foot River getting our hook wet, THE GLACIER NATIONAL PARK -WOW, and the game - yes it is loud. Heck fire, even breakfast at River City Grill was a great way to leave Missoula.

A thank you also goes out to the University of Montana's trainers in that they responded whenever an Appalachian State player was stunned. And stunned we were.

Again, a gracious thank-you and hopefully someday our paths will cross again.

Regards, Mack and Denise Pope - Class of 75 and 74 (Uncle Sam borrowed me - hence a little later)

The fans, players, Coaches of App State are A+ class acts, and we
are sad to see the Griz-Mountaineer football rivalry end.

Just about the best thing I've ever read on here. Thanks for the kind words, folks. Good luck to you and yours...

Cities have "sister cities" so why don't universities have "sisters"? There could be some kind of relationship established that could benefit the students and athletes of each school. Just an idea...
