Wow. Worse than I was expecting to see. Totally unprofessional. Assistant should have popped him in the face. Except the assistant has more class than that.

The assistant should be given a public apology. Coach Verlin should be suspended without pay the remainder of the season, then shown the door when the season is over. No employee should be treated this way in public. Whatever this was about can only be addressed behind closed doors with school officials. Coach Verlin is lucky he was not introduced to a world class ass beating in public.

I heard from someone in the Vandal's athletic department that Hebling kept running over behind Mitch Strohman while he was on the air, and yelling "f*** her right in the pussy!" Sounds like Verlin got fed up with that kind of crap and had a bit of a tantrum. It does make the whole program look bad so I can understand his outburst.

God, I miss day drinking.
