What’s up with Cam?

UM should sign at least one QB every year.

I was not trying to answer for Dick-Hunt. Got a little ahead of myself because Cam is in the game. Nice to see a quick release again.

Yeah, one play and a fumble. Do you hunt goats instead of sheep? Brown was 14-15 passing during one point in the second half.

today was 4 weeks ie 28 days from injury............Cam is one of the fast healers.
Looked like he injured an ankle again today to me though. Out for season now most likely so moot question now.

Not necessarily. It is the kind of injury that is painful so he was probably in more pain than he expected.

It sure looked like he re-injured his ankle to me

It looks to me, Cam learned a lot while watching from the sideline. He saw things he wasn't seeing from the field. He's a better qb now, than before his injury. I really liked him throwing it up for Akem, that's taking advantage of Akem's physical traits. EWU has done that with their stud wrs for how long now?
An improved Humphrey, with a better utilized Akem, is huge for the offense. Next step, getting better OL play. Humphrey bailed out the OL more than a qb should.

Great job, Cam!

Better OL play will certainly be important to helping Cam stay healthy.

Ooooooooor…during his time off he got on eGriz and learned from all of the know it all’s on what he needed to do to improve his game.

Cam may have went from an average BSC QB to the best in the conference with the only exception being EB. He was amazing yesterday.

Yes he was. It was great to see him at that level. Hope it continues.

what ya all got to say now?
A lot of posters on here forgot how good CH is.

Hopefully those same posters don't anoint Cam as the next QB messiah after a good game against one of the worst teams in the conference.

Perspective and context are valuable things to have when evaluating a QB.

I just hope he doesn’t use his helicopter move to get into the end zone to often. Yes he looked good yesterday. :thumb:

Why does it hurt if the fans get excited about the kid playing great? Also, UNC may not be the best team in the league but their defense is pretty good.

Not sure people are anointing him as the "messiah" but I think it reinforces that he gives the Griz offense the best chance to be productive.

I'm sure someone will post some drivel about how he's the next Dave Dickenson shortly. The extreme swings of hyperbole on the board following both wins and losses this season has been the only constant.

I do agree with you though, he does give the offense the best chance of scoring right now. KB12 is the future, but Cam looked real good yesterday.

Well I’d rather have that than a QB who has a shitty game against THE worst team in the conference. And we only pull out a home win by one point by blocking a FG at the end of the game….that would surely suck. AmIright????

KB12 will have to fight for a job next spring to be the future. In addition to those already on hand (Patterson looks good) I would expect to see a transfer drop-down in the equation.
