I'm convinced Cole could run the WVU offense...somebody buy RP and BH airfare and send them over to learn it.

Seriously, pretty darn good...QB is the key and it totally suits Cole's game- :twocents:

I think you're right. App St. implemented it in a year. Seems like a much shorter learning curve than that of the RP dynamic read. Cole has the mobility to run it, assuming he can stand up to the pounding he might take.

I agree 100%!

Ask the High School coaches around Washington State who have put it into play the last few years.

"The Kids love it"

One of my best friends who is now a "Big Nine" 4A O-C told me over a Christmas/Catch up on old times, phone call.

"they had to admit it it to themselves as a staff that the offense was for real, and here to stay, and it was fairly easy to put it in (one summer camp and then during the Fall camp).

They are now contending for the conf. title every year. (no small thing to do in the Big 9 or whatever they call it now) He also told me that the last several years a bunch of teams have put it in play around Washington.

I called it the new Wing T when we coached against it 20 years ago...he said make no mistake "it is the offense of the 21st century and here to stay for the next decade or so at least".

"Not a lot of Drew Bledsoes around the HS ranks but there are a ton of "Athletes" who can take to the QB position, and make the offense click. "

He says "College coaches are on to this"...or so they are telling him. (he talks with Pac-10/MWC/WAC/and even BSC coaches all the time) he said "Look for it to become a major factor in the Pac-10 over the next decade" (they are always a little slow out here and very hooked on the West Coast offense still)

:twocents:

FWIW

Cole and this OL and WR could totally run this offense if the right person were putting it in place. It could not be worse than the "Difficult offense" we have now.

I say after Cole is gone...we for sure do it- it will be tough to win 6 games that year anyway.

No, from what I hear, Jack Johnson is embarrased by what some of his former players post on here
