Wentz?

I heard Cranston is going to be out for the year, but I haven't seen anything confirming that yet. I hope he's not out. I don't know how the team feels about it. You have to wonder if Bohl has lost control of that locker room.

I think this all came to a head when you shared that the family was going to have to go the free-agency route. That can be particularly difficult on families looking @ playing on Sunday's, and living in NDakota.

He lost control a couple years ago when he left for Wyoming...

What is this "Wyoming" you speak of?

:poke:

When he got hurt, the press releases said he'd be out "six to eight weeks." I believe this Saturday is the six week mark.

The past several weeks ND St fans have been anticipating Wentz will be able to play in either the quarter finals (that would be next week) or semi-finals. So if he is fairly well healed, and they're desperate, they may put him in versus Montana.

On the other hand they seem to think their back up QB is pretty good and the kid has almost a full season under his belt.

According to Coach Klieman, he had another dr appt coming up to assess his injury but did not expect him for the rest of the playoffs. Could be tricky coach speak but who knows. Easton Stick is their QB2 and has gone 5-0, although they should have and could have easily lost 2 in that stretch without some Bison magic and help from the refs at Youngstown st (refs needed a police escort out of game). Stick is more of a runner than a passer but is serviceable with his arm. I'm not sure he is on the level of Prukop but probably just behind as far as running for his life.

Shoot. I was hoping to see Wentz one more time before he left for the pros.

He will be missed.... then again....probably, maybe, perhaps awh shucks.
