Wentz Will Go #1 In The 2016 NFL Draft

There's a strange disconnect between those who say the Rams will take Goff when you add Jon Gruden to the Golic, Mayock and Casserly crowd favoring Wentz. And Gruden may have the best handle on the situation who after running Wentz through his camp says not only is he the better of the two - he is also the best draft QB he has ever seen as far as being ready from day one to be an NFL player. Check out a preview of his ESPN show workout online...

gruden doesn't really have the best track record when it comes to evaluating qbs...

Mayock and Gruden are the only two that even count, they know how to evaluate talent and they are rarely wrong about players. The rest of the idiots probably post on here or some other message board because they dont know shit year after year. Kiper and McShay should eat a gun for cashing the paychecks they do.

Wentz is just what Gruden says, hes the best college to NFL ready QB the world has ever seen. Nothing or nobody currently in the NFL is even remotely as talented across the board as Wentz.

Alpha, who is the best Quarterback that Head Coach Gruden ever drafted? :coffee:

I just watched Connor Cook on QB camp and I think Gruden said he was the best QB in the draft.

It's a common joke on ESPN about how excited gruden gets about every qb and how he's wrong a large amount of the time... I mean I remember him saying something along the lines of tebow was going to be star nfl player. But what do I know, alpha probably thinks tebow was a star nfl player. We all know his lack of talent evaluation

Urinal an Grudren evidently have something in common. Both are jokes on the media they use.

I don't know if Grudren ever drafted a good QB, to my knowledge he was never a GM when he was a head coach so he may have given input but never pulled the trigger himself.

Cook might be serviceable in the NFL and he won't be as big of a bust as Goff but he's no franchise QB

2001 - Raiders picked in 2nd round - Marques Tuiasosopo (WAS)
2003 - Bucs picked in 3rd round - Chris Simms (TEN)
2006 - Bucs picked in 6th round - Bruce Gradkowski (TOL)
2008 - Bucs picked in 5th round - Josh Johnson (USD)

Lets hope he had no input.

I don't think Jon Gruden has ever seen a college qb he wasn't excited about...maybe if Fisher weren't a dummy, he'd be able to do something other than being 7-9 or 8-8 I for the last 10 years. At least he is consistent... I guess?

Goff is a bust and shouldn't be drafted but the NFL has a bunch of idiots jerking off over him, just another Leinert, Russell, Marinovich

Jerry Jones apparently loved Goff's workout, so that's pretty much like driving a stake into his heart...

Jones thinks Romo is worth a  like I said 90% of the NFL talent evaluators know less than dick..........none of them think for themselves and they suck off at the McShay/Kiper fountain of lame.

What's even more shocking is how the Griz not only couldn't beat NDSU in Fargo, after the #1 QB went down, but suffered perhaps their worst playoff loss of all time in a 37-6 beatdown.
Please leave Griz playoff history to those of us who have lived it and know what we're talking about.

Western Illinois 52; Montana 9, 11/28/98, McComb, IL

As he should.............

Fisher loves FCS players and the Rams finally get their franchise QB.

The Titans on the other hand will be where they always are.....looking up at the winners. They should have drafted Wentz and traded Marriota while he still has some value.
You called it back in, what, 2012?? Everyone was talking about Brock Jensen and you claimed Wentz was way better. Good call!
