Welnel is #37

Oh no, why did Bobby give in? Has he lost control of the team? Ha. Will the Cat troll have to go back to their board? Is Crews practicing yet?
 
Yep… Griz Nation got a little wound up over that which I understand. But a few of us just needed to take some deep breaths and relax. No one wants to win a natty more than Bobby and I don’t think he would willingly put the locker room in jeopardy over what some on here had speculated. Why did it take so long for it to resolve itself? Who knows, and who cares…

I like that we no longer have 20 friggen flags rolling out of the tunnel. I always thought that looked dumb, not to mention we need to exorcise everything from the story era.

I think the #37 shouldn't be announced until the team runs out of the tunnel for the first home game. A surprise would be very cool and get fans to the stadium.

But then, I also never suspected we could have 19 threads and 1,354 posts of people in full hyperventilation mode regarding who’s wearing #37 when It was announced months ago, so what do I know?

The last time I know of that the Griz had any trouble getting fans to the stadium was in the mid-to-late '70's.
As for the flags, have you looked at the flag poles in front the state Capitol. Looks like the godamned UN. American flag, Montana state flag. Enough!

Hell, maybe it wouldn't, but atleast the kind a crap that just went down wouldn't happen. I like the idea of it being a surprise sue me.
