Totally agree. But you can't coach 4 turnovers. I said in another thread this week, Curran's hands would hurt us one of these days. Damn, that's a bad loss.

Correct, but Curran’s turnover was no worse than the other three. He was trying to get a first down. The defense played hard. Offense laid a damn egg. One deep pass completed today. One. With that receiving corps something is seriously wrong. Coach can’t be blamed for turnovers - but damn it they looked unprepared.

Really? Because they are routinely praised for the lack thereof. I think they can be blamed for losses. We now have two. Only one more allowed.

They definitely can be blamed for losses. I just don’t agree with coaches being blamed for turnovers - unless they run stupid ass plays, which none of the turnovers today would be attributed to. IMO this staff failed to have the team ready to play today and PSU had a better scheme.

You can't possibly know that...Stitt's receivers shit the bed today, so there's that.

Where is B Stitt today anyway?

Not sure, but just heard him laughing

Somewhere not looking like complete garbage and losing to Portland State at home.

He's not even a fucking coach today.....some fuckin& quality dude for a team that got destroyed today. So....in your industry, do quality people go without substantial responsibility?

To be fair, soldier, he’s an OFFENSIVE Quality Assistant and the OSU offense did score 42 today.

Don't care. This team shat the bed at home against a shitty team and the coaching staff should be held accountable. No more excuses. Win games.

I'm on board with that.

Perhaps OSU also picked up Semore as a Defensive Analyst? 8-)

I get it---your MO. You are consistent...

BH admitted he was badly outcoached in this one during the postgame show. If he can admit it, we all should be honest and do so as well.

If my MO is to expect a win at home against a bad PSU team and not making excuses, then, yes, that is my MO.

I think firing Stitt was the right move, dude would never be more than a 6-7 win coach at this level...but that loss was one of the worst home losses in awhile

Reminded me of the home loss to CP with that 47-yarder at the end.

He’s interning @ OSU right now & if this was his team, they’d be 1-5, 0-3 in conference. I’m being generous with the Drake win. But they’d have 19 receivers on Scholly so there’s that. Let him laugh - he’s been saved four or five woulda, coulda, shoulda pressers by this time in the season. He sucked @ that too.

Your mantra has been consistent...better than 7-4 and playoffs or else.....but i'll just let this one die...

No need to let it die. Better than 7-4 and playoffs is the bar. I didn't set it.
I still think Hauck can get there, but this egg didn't help matters.

The bar is set properly. It was an egg indeed.

Holy shit...is it true?

This was just "one of those days." Everybody and every team can have a bad day, but great teams overcome such days. Griz are not great yet.
