Me too. The year the Griz rolled out in old griz uniforms was sick. It was a one-time ass kicker of an idea. Now, the concept is anticlimactic. Though I think most agree that the black and orange was a really bad idea, the gold on gold the cats used was a very close second.

bobcat girls would love to see less cover on the male chests. And they just love low riders with kisses on the hind end.
Delaney stated he would have a surprise. I doubt it has ANYTHING TO DO WITH UNIFORMS.
Regular uniforms (no game plan) and a good old beat down of the bragging over rated bobvestites!

We may pull an Oregon 2011 Rose Bowl and roll out the new unis for next year early (assuming we're still on the "change unis every three years" kick).

do people really associate uniforms with being cocky or un-focused? these are young kids playing a game. and they bust their asses day after day so you guys can pound beers with your buddies on saturday and have something to scream about. in fact...i'd say that all the crap your players have been through is exactly why i HOPE you come out with some sweet uni's that these kids wanna wear. my guess is about 98% of your players are hard workers who do everything right and have endured a tough season. and knowing this will be the last time they ever play in wash-griz.....i hope they get the opportunity to have some fun out there.
and because i know someone will say it, NO i'm not saying the only way they will have fun is if they bring out some crazy uniform. i'm sure just playing football is fun. but wearing new uniforms is certainly a perk and has no bearing on the outcome of the game.

I posted this in the uniform thread, but bears repeating. IF the Griz planned an alternate uni or helmet for Griz-Cat, that plan was likely in place back in the summer, long before the Griz were 5-5. I don't think the school is going to just shelve something that's already been paid for in full just because fans think it's only cool to change things up when you're winning. Alternate uniforms, especially if you are a Nike school, are here to stay!! And if the Griz planned something for Griz-Cat, they're gonna go ahead with it regardless of what kind of season they are having and regardless of the NCAA Investigation.
Besides, the players LOVE that stuff and in my opinion, when it comes to uniforms, THE PLAYERS opinion of them is the only one that matters.

you guys are exactly right. There is nothing wrong with our boys running out of the tunnel in some sick ass uniforms! I am excited just to see what we will be wearing, even if it is something as simple as the helmets (like last year). I remember when they ran out of the tunnel in 08 and i nearly shit my pants in excitement.....i realize this year wont be like that because we all somewhat expect it, but we have no idea what they will look like. All i know is its fun when they run out in badass unis, and as a former college athlete i know wearing something new and different was always exciting didnt mean we were not focused on the task at hand. I do miss our black pants with our home tops (not a fan of the silver pants). And it may be a tiny bit off topic but we have by far the sickest looking road unis in the conf....we are bad ass looking with those black pants and white tops.uofmman1122 said:

At the time, Bobby's teams always wore all maroon at the last home game, and we wore all maroon for ISU the week before. I kind of figured something special was up. I was on my first exchange in Japan that year, though, so I missed it live.
Edit: also agree on the maroon and black unis. They're probably my favorite uniform we've ever had. A black or maroon helmet would make it even better, IMO. Maybe that's what we'll see in two weeks.
