Well, that didn't last long

With most UM fans having backed away from the ledge and mostly back on the bus/bandwagon, and Herder having been straightened out and now seemingly almost on the bandwagon, I thought there would time to try to help some Bobcats get better information on Griz football. I didn't want them to be devastated when the Griz beat them. Ha. So, I went to the College Sports sub-forum of BobcatNation. I had never had an account there, nor looked at it much. But I thought I could be extra careful and polite, avoid any conflicts, and, of course, carefully follow all rules; and then provide some basic info and get some discussions going.

This lasted less than 3 days, before I retired. I mainly responded to things already in the forum like: when was the last Griz team so bad, the Griz stink, Ferris is only D2, etc. I didn't even say the Griz were good, let alone very good. I didn't say the Griz would beat the Cats, until my retirement posting session. Just the facts on who they had played and how those teams were. I started 2 threads with only quotes from recent articles on Griz football and the new preseason basketball polls, with no commentary by me. Also, one comparing the Griz position groups with the Cat position groups, mostly just asking for info about the Cat positions (as I don't know) and providing info on the Griz groups. I didn't bother taking on the posts saying: is the best and deepest Cat team you have ever seen, the Cats are dominant and are going to smash everyone (except SDSU, I guess), the Cat game against SDSU shows how great the Cats are.

Most responses from the Cats were mostly fine and normal. A few weren't. A few posters immediately starting calling me a troll (which I wasn't even remotely doing) and complaining to the mods. I had one communication with a mod, who answered a question about someone using my name in the forum, after I had flagged 4 posts. He didn't like my schtick, he said. I told him I didn't have one. Then a mod said on the forum that I posted too much. This mod, or these mods, were a cross between a baby and a dna riflehead. That place really is a preaching to the choir place. Had I posted like Hoops, I would have been done after my first few posts. One of the more civil posters was 2508. I wasn't band when I departed, and haven't even bothered to look back, but, man, those guys are soft. I hope some of the Cat team and coaches are as soft as some of these jokers are.
I look forward to watching the Cat game this weekend and seeing the opponent too.

You weren't banned, I checked the site. I found it interesting that they list 28 of your posts. They say you have 37 total posts. Nine, evidently, vanished into thin air, like a fart in the wind. Thats pathetic. Thin skinned mods. Ever seen a skin tear, where the skin is so poor the slightest contact tears the skin? Thats them. You exposed them for what they are. :thumb:

You're wrong. All 37 of his posts are there. Of course, don't take my word for it go see for yourself and count:
PR's post history on Bobcatnation.com

Does anyone over here ever double check anything they post, or does everyone just jump to conclusions right away and send the mob after someone who actually does bother to follow up and verify claims made?

PR also claimed that the Grizzlies's 10-point differential in your two road, ranked wins is somehow better than MSU's 52-point differential in their two road, ranked wins. Again, you don't have to believe me. In fact, you shouldn't. Just go see for yourself instead of outsourcing your thinking to a retard and taking his word for it.

The BN mods aren't around much and have very thick skin, I can assure you. Anyone who's been banned has received several warnings, like BadlandsGrizFan. PR has not been banned, or even warned, for anything he's posted.

That's good, take the word of a woke author rewriting history 150 years after the fact. As someone that had ancestors there in in 1863 I will disagree with his assessment.

Gold wasn't discovered in Last Chance Gulch until 1864, which was after the vigilantes did their work. The image used on this guys book is the same one that was my profile pic.

As someone who had ancestors in MT for centuries before you did, I disagree with your assessment. I am not aware of anyone writing on MT history who doesn't agree that the vigilantes hung many people without due process, as well as some innocent people. That, in my view, is un-American. I'm starting to think you provably are racist. You just don't get it, or don't care.

I never said that they didn't hang any without due process, although most were tried in miners court. Those that were not tried in miners court may not have been necessarily innocent. You are crediting many more lynching to the Vigilantes than what they actually did, every hanging during that period was not necessary conducted by Vigilantes. I'm not saying that every man they hung was guilty but some were presumed guilty by association, it is undeniable that their work stopped the robberies that had become prevalent and instilled some level of law to the territory. It was a different time and it is unfair to judge them by todays standards.

BTW I had ancestors on both sides of the issue, it is actually quite interesting to read some of their letters and diaries from the time and even later in life.

Should have been a permanent ban.

poop. One can earn a perma ban on bcn for suggesting that there are some days in which Patrick Mahomes mayyyyy be a little better in a few aspects of the game than the wine guy

Wow, you are still that butt hurt over being banned on a differant message board years ago...let it go.

As always this is eGriz.

Never band on bcn. Simply left because it's a horrible site and no fun.

I did check, and it showed 28 posts, out of 37 total. Something changed on BNs end, the same end you can blow it out your ass from. :butt:

When people get fed up with lawlessness, or badge wearing crooks, or judges, they take matters into their own hands. Words of wisdom for the progressive left and their sympathizers in this country.
