Just back from the game and I want to salute the fans in the NEZ for an outstanding job. You were loud and relentless. Clearly made a difference. Well done, keep it up!
 
NEZ sounded REALLY loud over the radio as well. Got a little hard to hear Mick & Gurns on a few occasions.
 
On TV it looked pretty bare through most of the third quarter. The NEZ sounded like it stepped up when the situation called for it.

Our defense didn't give up a touchdown in the first game of the year! That is something to be amped up about. It's going to be an exciting year to be a Griz fan!! :thumb:
 
There were two additional false starts that weren't called. Ref's just apparently didn't have the heart. I now don't have a voice.

The whole crowd was amazing tonight. It really felt like WGS of old where the noise would start at the flick of a switch. It clearly gave ASU trouble on some plays.
 
I know my voice is gone for a while. But great discipline shutting it down for the offense and cranking it back to full volume for the D. Sure seemed like App spent a lot of game time under the NEZ! :twisted: This Griz team looks as good as any I have ever seen for the first game of the season. Get the penalties under control and asses will be kicked this year. FTC.
