Lots of us looked at the NAU games with utter disbelief, and thought :wtf: Plenty of reason to doubt the ability/efforts of the coaching staff leading up to that sh*tshow, and video documentation of lacking effort on some players parts. The absolute lack of any information from the Athletic Dept./ Football program, a trademark of the BH tenures, only fed into the doubts of many, myself included.
Since then, changes have been made, with resulting effect. Doesn't make any of us less of a fan, as some have claimed.

A matter of degrees? Like the difference between being myopic and totally blind? I, and many others, could see there were problems with Griz football, and said so. Exactly WHAT the solution was, I didn't know. The deniers simply dismissed us as bad fans, or whatever, and blindly supported what had gone on. The need for change was obvious, but exactly WHAT change was not clear. We were dismissed as fair weather fans, at best. SOMETHING got Bobby's attention, and he made some changes. Does that make HIM a fair weather fan/coach?
